Nice Lager

Scofflaw Brewing Co. tasked me with one of my favorite projects so far – to create a logo for their new lager – Nice Lager. They asked for aesthetics matching your grandpa’s basement, a pack of cigarettes, and a tattoo shop. I wanted this can to emulate and honor beers past. I used a true cream to give the can a vintage look, and spent quite some time to create the typography you see on the word “nice.” See the working variations below as well as some of my inspiration below!
